A few months after the delivery of tugs VB CONCORDE and VB MIRAGE assigned to BOLUDA NANTES SAINT NAZAIRE, BOLUDA FRANCE has now received two additional newbuilds : the VB ACHERON and VB SURPRISE.
The highly manoeuvrable tugs, 30,30 meters in length and with a 75-ton bollard-pull, are all part of a six-unit contract signed with PIRIOU SHIPYARDS and built in Vietnam. Delivered by the German cargo ship HILKE on 18 November 2019, the VB ACHERON and VB SURPRISE are assigned to BOLUDA MARSEILLE FOS. These highly manoeuvrable units answer to the latest safety and performance requirements of the Grand Port Maritime of Marseille. They are an integral part of BOLUDA FRANCE’s ongoing commitment to renew its fleet in order to bring its customers modern and effective solutions adapted to their operational needs.
The next two tugs are expected to be delivered next May.
