The tugs VB GASCOGNE and VB YPORT towed the CMA CGM Kerguelen during its entry in the Port of Le Havre, where it was christened on May 10th 2015.
Kerguelen has capacity for 17,722 twenty-foot equivalent containers, is 398 meters long with a 54 meter beam and a depth of 16 meters. It is to date CMA CGM’s largest container vessel.
The tugs and crews of both tugs welcomed this imposing vessel with due respect and assured its docking in total safety.
