Boluda contracts the building of 6 new tugboats

They will be incorporated to the fleet of Boluda France.

Boluda Towage and Salvage has signed a contract for the building of 6 new tugboats in the French shipyard Piriou.

The boats are 30 long, 10 large, 5 m of prop and a pull of fixed point of 75 tons. They have a power of 5300 HP and are fully equipped for emergency response such as fire fighting and marine pollution. This new generation of tugboats is more comfortable for the crew, have more capacity of maneuver and reaction and have the Escort classification.

The signature was between the two chairman of both entities, Vicente Boluda Fos and Pascal Piriou and were present Vicente Boluda Ceballos, Vice-chairman of Boluda Towage and Salvage, Ignacio Boluda Ceballos, Vice-chairman of Boluda Lines; Vincent Faujour (Piriou); Antonio Bordils, chief executive manager of Boluda Towage and Salvage and Denis Monserand, General manager of Boluda France.

The two first tugboats of this series of 6 have been already delivered and the delivery of the last two of them is scheduled in April 2017.

Boluda is developing a program of extension and renewal of the fleet who will lead it to reach the 250 units of tugboats of last generation, and will allow it to optimize the operations in port as well as offshore.
